Sistahs on Lit:  Thank you for taking the time to do this interview with us.  Could you please tell us a little about yourself?

Kai Storm:  My name is Kai Storm, I am originally from Panama, raised in Brooklyn and now live in the Bronx. I am a mom
of 2, a wife and a great personality bursting into the literary world.

Sistahs on Lit:  What genre do you consider your books?

Ms. Storm:  Urban Literature, Street Fiction, Urban Fiction

Sistahs on Lit: What inspired you to write your first novel?

Ms. Storm:  To be honest with you I wrote it out of boredom, lol! I've been writing all my  life, anything that comes to my head whether real or fake I write about it! In  2008 I was temping at a hospital and the assignment ended the first week of
December but they decided to keep me on for three more weeks so that I had money  for christmas presents. For those three weeks I had nothing to do, once I sent out resumes everywhere I was literally just sitting there doing nothing then all
of a sudden, I decided to write the first three chapters of Alani's Bigger Hustle. It was only after I sent those chapters out to a publishing co that I decided to write the rest of the story. I've been writing all my life, the only difference is now I get to make some money off of it lol!

Sistahs on Lit: Is there a little bit of Alani in yourself?  If so, how?

Ms. Storm:  Yes, she is who I wanted to be when I was younger, she was my idol lol still is after these books

Sistahs on Lit:  What are your current projects?

Ms. Storm:  My next book will be an ebook erotica s&m called you just don't know, cant give you an exact date as Alani's Hustle Gets Bigger just came out and I need to  promote that book hard but its in the works! Brooklyn always has something in da  pocket to pull out lol!

Sistahs on Lit:  Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

Ms. Storm:  Never give up and always strive for the best!

Sistahs on Lit:  What was the hardest part of writing your book?

Ms. Storm:  There was none, it was already in me so putting it on paper was easy!

Sistahs on Lit:  Is there anything else you would like your readers to know about you?

Ms. Storm:  Writing is my sanity!

Sistahs on Lit:  How may your readers contact you?

Ms. Storm:  On Facebook add me on as Kai Storm, my twitter handle is alanistory, on Google+/Linkedin Kai Storm, I have a youtube channel under jennchocostar/Kai Storm and two sites
http://www.nattiekai.com/ and www.wix.com/nattiekai/kaistorm
